Good morning, NA Alley family.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce we've come to the difficult decision that it's time for us to cut ties with NA Alley.

The last two and a half years have been a wild ride, and we've loved being a part of it and seeing the new adult category expand and flourish the way it has.  As founders and contributors of the blog, it's really hard to say goodbye, but we leave satisfied with the knowledge that we've accomplished what we originally set out to do, which is raise awareness and promote this fledgling category called New Adult.  While we'll remember this time fondly, we're all excited to move into the future and put our focus into other endeavors, such as expanding our writing careers, focusing on and growing our side businesses, and even welcoming new family members.

So, from the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you to the readers, authors, editors and agents who've worked with us over the last few years and made NA Alley an exciting place to be.

We wish the remaining members nothing but the best for the future, and trust they'll do a great job with expanding awareness and support of  New Adult fiction.

We may not be around NA Alley, but we'll all continue writing new adult fiction, so please keep up with us at the links below:

Jaycee DeLorenzo
I’m a wife, mom, writer, Romance Diva, voracious reader, blogger, web designer, and cover artist. I write YA, Upper YA (or New Adult as the term has been coined) and Adult romances whenever I have a free moment.  Why NA?  Because it's a fascinating age where my characters are trying to find that balance between being a teenager and being an adult, experiencing new freedoms, trying new things, struggling to figure out who they are and who they want to be, all while trying to balance the responsibilities that come with being an adult.

I'm a writer, blogger, and tweeter of all things twenty something!  I started writing stories featuring twenty something protagonists who were either in college or post college because of a gap I saw in the fiction market.  I've been going strong ever since.  My stories always feature kooky, offbeat heroines, a lot of love, and usually a little bit of magic.  I currently write in the romance sub genres of Contemporary, Urban Fantasy, and Science Fiction, but wherever my pen takes me is where I go next!

Juliana Haygert
I’m a Brazilian girl who lives in Connecticut.I would love to be Wonder Woman, Cheetara, Elektra, Buffy, Phoebe, She- ra, Rose, a blood elf shadow priest, and other various kick-ass female from comics, TV series, movies, books and games, but I settle for—the less exciting but equally gratifying life as—a wife, mother, friend and a writer. My heroines are like the ones cited above and I also writes about the heroes who drive them crazy—and occasionally hot. Since my first stories, I wrote about 20-something year old protagonists without knowing it wouldn’t fit in today’s traditional publishing market. Nowadays, besides writing full time, I battle for the recognition of New Adult as a category.
