Ready for a fun reading weekend? Are you gearing up for the NA Crush Tourney? I know I am. I love that time of year. Of course, pictures of all those dreamy characters doesn't hurt, huh?

For this week's question, we have a fun one:

What is the best book to movie adaptation?

Lynn:  I know it's tough to get it right when it comes to movies made from books…but I hear that Hunger Games was really up there in consistency. I haven't read the books **ducks at wads of paper being thrown** but I enjoyed the movie.

Jaycee:  And as someone who has read The Hunger Games books multiple times I  have to say I thought they were really well adapted, especially Catching Fire.  I also thought Divergent was fairly well done, although a few things were missing for me.

But what do you think? Do tell.

  1. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The two sequels increasingly diverged from the books.
A good debate would be whether Frodo is a new adult. I think he was fifty when he started his adventures, but since hobbits live longer than humans, he acted like a fairly young person.

We LOVE hearing from you!
