It's almost the weekend! Here's a question to jump start your weekend fun.

What is your favorite trait for a hero?

I know I love mine bordering on Alpha, but not afraid to show the heroine just how much she means to him. When I look at the list of books I've read recently, I'd have to say the heroes in Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Protector series are right up my alley.

Yeah, it's not an NA series, but sometimes I branch outside the NA line a little when I read.

And then there's Tristan from Kristie Cook's New Adult Soul Saver Series. He's all kinds of yummy.

Tortured souls who can overcome their demons is another characteristic I love. It just makes me smile when the hero's love for the heroine overcomes…everything.

Yeah. I'm a romance writer--and proud of it! LOL.

Jaycee here, and I'm kind of the same.  I like a bad-ass alpha hero, like Bones in The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost.

Then again, one of my favorite male characters of all time (it's a secret crush, b/c the hubby makes fun of me for it) started out knowing he was a worthless piece of crap, but grew throughout the story, doing everything he could to atone for his past and become a much better person, making the ultimate sacrifice for those he loved.

  1. I like when tortured souls overcome their demons, too. That takes a lot of will-power!

We LOVE hearing from you!
