Hey everyone! I'm so excited because today we are celebrating the release of a new e-serial put out by Big Six publisher St. Martin's Press! That's right. We have an official NA series published by a Big Six, and what's really exciting is the release is by author Allison Rushby! Allison has written several stellar YA titles including the hit Shooting the Stars about a sixteen-year-old paparazzo and a teen star! She is also represented by the great Sara Megibow of the Nelson Literary Agency (she accepts NA manuscripts ;D) I met Allison through Goodreads, and was so happy when she came to me about the release of her new e-serial.

What's even better about the release is that she is giving away a cute prop from the book! It's a fabulous 1920s themed scarf inspired by the era in her book! Too cool!

Congratz Allison!!!!

The Heiresses: Episode One by Allison Rushby
Publisher: St. Martin's Press
Release Date: January 7, 2013

Three triplets—sisters estranged since birth—are thrust together in glittering 1926 London to fight for their inheritance, only to learn they can’t trust anyone—least of all each other.

Episode one: When three teenage girls, Thalia, Erato and Clio, are summoned to the excitement of fast-paced London—a frivolous, heady city full of bright young things—by Hestia, an aunt they never knew they had, they are shocked to learn they are triplets and the rightful heiresses to their deceased mother's fortune. All they need to do is find a way to claim the fortune from their greedy half-brother, Charles. But with the odds stacked against them, coming together as sisters may be harder than they think.

Episode two: After quickly settling into their aunt’s London townhouse, the girls soon meet their half-brother, Charles, an up-and-coming politician who would like nothing better than to see them disappear and his family name left intact. He refuses to bestow any of their inheritance upon them unless all three leave the city for good. The girls decide to form a united front and fight Charles together. However, when Clio—desperate for money for the ailing mother who adopted her—approaches Charles without telling anyone, she finds out a secret so shocking it could change everything forever.

Episode three: Relationships are strained as keeping secrets begins to take a toll. With each sister now having something to gain, but even more to lose, they each need the inheritance money more than ever. But when their lies are finally revealed, who will the winner be?

Episode four: Intoxicated by the city, Thalia receives attention for her wild behaviour and society begins to ask questions. In the meantime, the final sister—desperate to impress her crush with her status—approaches Charles for money. But what game will Charles play now that he knows the sisters are all willing to betray one another?

Episode five: Disgusted with Charles and his cruel tricks, the girls finally agree to band together in hopes of finding another way to win the fortune from Charles. However, when Thalia runs into trouble at a party and one of her sisters has her sent away, it divides the girls even more fiercely than before. Only a chance encounter which reveals a shocking truth about their mother might be able to bring them together to defeat Charles—once and for all.

Episode six: With a wedding on the cards, the future looks bright, despite the sisters now doubting they will ever claim their mother's fortune from Charles. But when the threesome realize they have overlooked a key person in their quest and a series of terrible events occur, the true owner of the entire fortune is finally revealed and the girls' destinies are changed forever.

Allison Rushby

Having failed at becoming a ballerina with pierced ears (her childhood dream), Allison Rushby instead began a writing career as a journalism student at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Within a few months she had slunk sideways into studying Russian. By the end of her degree she had learned two very important things: that she wasn't going to be a journalist; and that there are hundreds of types of vodka and they're all pretty good. After several years spent whining about how hard it would be to write a novel, she finally tried writing one and found it was quite an enjoyable experience. Since then, she has had nine novels published. She keeps up her education by sampling new kinds of vodka on a regular basis.

  5. I have a copy in my trembling, eager hands that I'm going to dive into in the next day or so! I can't wait, it sounds so delicious. :)

The Facebook link in the Rafflecopter form doesn't work and when I go to Allison's web page to try to follow the FB link there, the option is to become her friend, not "Like" a fan page. I don't think she'd want me to be her friend with the insane number of nutty people in my timeline already. ;)
