That's right! My (beloved) publisher, Sapphire Star Publishing, will be visiting the Alley for a pitch contest right before Valentine's Day. Why? Because SSP ♥ NA!
Who: Anyone with a complete NA contemporary or NA paranormal manuscript and a polished, query-sized
pitch (<250 words) may enter.
What: This is a
speed-based contest. Only the first 25 entries will be considered by Amy Lichtenhan,
co-owner of Sapphire Star Publishing.
When: February
09, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. EST.
(We chose this time because many of you work during the week, and it should be fairly accessible for most time zones.)
(We chose this time because many of you work during the week, and it should be fairly accessible for most time zones.)
Where: NA Alley,
of course! On the 9th, we'll leave instructions about how you can enter via
comment.
Why: Because we
love you! ♥
How many winners will
they select? Up to three.
What will each winner
receive? A full manuscript request!
Will there be
runners-up? Possibly...
How many? To be
determined.
Bonus:
We're asking everyone to spread the word, and as an incentive, we're offering a special giveaway!
Notes:
- We have a busy week ahead of us, so I'm skipping this month's Exploring Terms post. If you missed the first two, you can find them here ("indie") and here ("traditional").
- On Wednesday, we're revealing Victoria's cover for The Space Between. On Friday, we're announcing February's Featured Book of the Month.
- Thank you to everyone who showed up for #NALitChat last Thursday! I had a wonderful time hosting and exchanging promotional strategies with you all. For anyone who missed it, you can find the transcript here.
- We're still accepting applications for a new contributor and a group coordinator. If you're on the fence about applying, check out these expectation flyers. ;)
